Mos Burger - Frente Sasazuka — Restaurant in Tokyo

We go in at lunch time and the place is packed by single diners on their laptops and moms with kids. It’s a bit of chaotic. To order, you have a choice of two terminals to order or a cashier. We chose a terminal as it had an English menu. We wanted to order two plant based burgers, but couldn’t find in anywhere the menu screen. There are people lining up behind us anxious to order. Now it’s getting stressful, so we decided to go to the cashier instead. She’s very polite, but not very fast. I use a translation app to read “We would like two plant based burgers.” I show it to her. She becomes confused and shows it to a younger woman who points down at a menu on the counter that reads “Plant Based Burger.” I confirm that’s what we want, and the cashier again confirms that we want two burgers. I confirm yes, we would like two burgers please. Would we like it to take away or for here.? We would like it for here. At this point, I’m angry the menu screen didn’t have an easy way to find the Plant Based Burger. I’ve just wasted 10 minutes trying to order the thing.

The burgers are good, not great. The patty has the consistency of a breakfast sausage patty, but not much in the way of flavor. Quite bland. There is a green bun, fresh sliced tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and a mayo teriyaki sauce served in a packet on the side. It’s all ok. It’s way better...

2022年10月追記 店内中央のテーブル席には以前は座り心地のよい椅子が置かれていましたが、その椅子をノマド席に移し、少し座り心地の悪い椅子がテーブル席に配置されました。 良い椅子と電源とWifi。 電源完備のノマド席が多く、また質の良い一人掛けの椅子が3脚(4脚だったこともありましたが余裕を持たせたようです)、それとボックス席。ノマド席は止まり木のため、座り心地はよくありません。 電源とWifiが揃っているのでPCで作業する方も多いのですが、店内には「ランチタイムにパソコンで長時間作業する場合、お声掛けさせていただく場合があります」のような貼り紙が掲示されるようになりましたので、ノマド目的の方はご注意ください。 窓の外の景色も開放感があり、コーヒーは2杯目に限り100円で飲めます。空いている時間であれば居心地の良いカフェとして使えます。個人的にはノマド席を減らし、電源のない一人掛けのよい椅子を増やしてもらいたいところですが、笹塚駅には貴重な電源Wifi完備のカフェですので、こちら...
