If you like raw salmon, negitoro, and salmon roe, Namino is a fabulous place to go. I have been there more times than I can count and I can promise you, I will be back again. I speak just a few words of Japanese, but the staff are very nice and helpful with ordering. The salmon is fan-tas-tic, I cannot stress that enough! Every time I go there I'm completely speechless after the first bites; the consistency is nice and firm, and the taste is fatty and smooth. As a "dessert" they offer a small rice bowl topped with one of three kinds of egg yolk. I have only tried the yuzu yolk and it is amazing how much of yuzu the yolk tastes. Delicious!

I’ve recently really been into いくら and my friend recommended to try this place since she saw it on YouTube. I’m telling you know it’s a must go. There are several types of fish egg to choose from, but on top of that, they have a salmon side dish that is outstanding and for the price and amount can’t be beat. The minced tuna was good too. At the end of the meal you get a TKG with an egg of your choice with different toppings. On top of all that, the two guys working there were so nice and friendly, and extremely accommodating. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure and highly recommend this place.

If you like Ikura (fish roe), I highly recommend this place. Namino is situated outside of your typical tourist area. The place is small but cozy. There are only 1 chef working on orders for everyone. Given that it’s lunch time / rush hour, we called to book in advance to reserve seatings. I recommend ordering the set of five ikura tasting menu. You’ll get to try five types of ikura. Also, be sure to add toppings of various sashimi. Technically, each set comes with raw egg yolk rice bowl after the meal. However, we were too full by that time. Overall a good experience!
