Saizeriya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Today is a relaxing Sunday for me and my husband, we want simple and yummy Italian food, so of course, サイゼリア!

It was lunch time around 1pm, so the restaurant was quite full, but we didn’t need to wait after writing our name on the waiting list.

My husband ordered red wine, but instead of 250ml, he accidentally ordered the 500ml one, which was way too much for him, but he learned his lesson, he will be more careful next time when ordering. We also ordered spinach, 2 plates of chicken wings, sausage pizza, grilled lamb and cheese doria.

The food came on a decent time, and there were two staff working. The portion of spinach seems like a bit bigger than usual, still tastes very good, it is my must order veggie when I don’t feel like cold salad. Chicken wings are a must order too, always full with flavour and juicy. Sausage pizza was for my husband, because he likes sausage and I don’t, he enjoyed it very much. I love lamb and their grilled lamb is quite good, so I ordered it quite often. Cheese doria was delicious, very creamy and rich taste, full with cheese on top, we both love it.

It was our first time ordering dessert at サイゼリア, we went with tiramisu and truffle ice cream. The tiramisu was very delicious! Very soft and creamy, melt in my mouth instantly, and leaves a soft coffee aftertaste… definitely will order it again! The truffle ice cream was much harder than we thought, very chocolatey, my husband likes it, but I am not a big fan of it, because it’s too chocolatey for me, and I don’t like nuts in ice cream.

Any type of Italian food u order is so disappointing. Even for the cheap price I wouldn't call it good value. The food is just bad. But the meals with rice are okay though like the hamburg.

Last time I ordered carbonara and the sauce was like water. The whole pasta was just swimming in it.

After a few years, I tried lunch and ordered pizza today. It tasted more like bread with ketchup 😂
