The admission fee is about 950 yen on a weekend. The location is pretty remote. The place was packed on Saturday, but I didn't mind.
You can order food on the premises, but you're likely to have to wait for the tables to become vacant, also my food was way too salty, it costed 1000 yen. Food is paid through a wending machine, then you hand over the ticket to the counter and they give you a device with number, it will ring when your order is ready. You need to return the tray to a special counter when you're done.
Body soap, shampoo and conditioner were available. You have to bring your own towels or rent them. I did not use 2 saunas, so cannot comment on them.
At one point I was so hungry and dizzy that I hit a sliding glass door with my face and right knee bruising the knee pretty bad, so make sure to take a break and go and eat dinner.
First of all you place your shoes into a shoe locker and keep the key for later when you leave. Then you ascend to the second floor and using a wending machine purchase a ticket and hand it to the man at the front desk. Then you're good to go inside the common area where people purchase food and eat and from there to a changing room. There you pick the available locker and place the key bracelet on your body (hand, leg). Both lockers are coin-operated, you will get your 100 yen back. There's a restroom and a device with drinkable water just when you're about to leave the changing room and enter the bath. There were mizuburo (temperature 18 degrees), several massaging jets, electric bath indoors and 3 baths outdoors, one of them is milky and nontransparent (temperature 40 degrees). I took away 1 star because something felt lacking about the selection of...
Read moreOverall rating 2 stars. See details below.
Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It looked clean. Even if crowded, it was not uncomfortable.
Pricing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For JPY 850, we can safely say it is cheap.
Bathing place ⭐️⭐️ Multiple small baths are available. Even crowed you can choose to go elsewhere. But here begins the troubles. The jet baths: the jets are not working... let s call it its name just hot water. Otherwise the open air baths are quite small as well and can feel very much crowded. All the showering spots don't have a temperature selector so you might end with 40 or more degrees water when all you want is a body temperature one. Choose your spot well I would say.
Changing room minus 5 stars..... Yes you read well MINUS 5 STARS!! You will land in the Amazonian jungle humidity and temperature here. 1- You are readying yourself to get in the bath activating sweating. That is not an issue as you are going to clean yourself right? 2- the issue is when you are going out of the bathing area. You are clean, feeling refreshed and paf! You get 100% humidity with hot air blowing on your naked body! I would call the changing area a sauna! A wet sauna! Get yourself ready from sweat sweat and more sweat while trying to put on clean clothings.
So overall 2 stars but sincerely i would have given a 1 star if it was not for the cleanliness and the smiling and...
Read moreIts mostly for locals but I loved it due to the lack of tourists. Little english spoken for a suburban area which is understandable. Bring a towel. Toiletries are avilable for use in the washing area. 6 or so bath areas with a sauna. The only cost for me was 750 admission fee and some vending machine drinks. Recieve your ticket by just inserting the money into the vending machine and clicking the first button on the left top corner for the ticket to go in. Give the ticket to reception person and you're good to go through on your left...
