YANA CAFÉ — Restaurant in Tokyo

I ordered a lunch set. There were quite a few options available for food and it seems that everything is prepared after you order. I wasn’t in a rush and it was very much worth waiting for. The bolognese had a generous serving of seasoned meat incorporated with okra and some sliced mushrooms. The brownie was one of the best I’ve had in tokyo, rich and decadent. The coffee was also exceptional, a fruity scent with a wonderful foam. I read another comment about the other customer’s conversation. Because the cafe has about 10 or so seats, it’s very easy to find yourself in someone else’s conversation and they might not always be discussing something you enjoy. As was the case but the owner is busy making the food that is really delicious, so wear headphones like I did. Dogs are allowed in the cafe. I sat next to a corgi and a chihuahua and wasn’t disturbed in the slightest. The playlist was good and if the cafe were empty, it would’ve been the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a delicious coffee and contemplate life. Thanks for the delicious lunch, see...

初めてランチタイムに利用。

ドリンクつきのサンドイッチセットにプチスイーツつきでオーダー。

提供まで20分近く待たされ、運ばれてくるまで、背後にいた地元のおばちゃん3人衆の、子育てあるある自慢合戦をひたすら大音量で聞かされる事に。

もちろん食事中も夫にまったく愛されてない事が会話だけでもわかるご婦人方の時間の無駄遣い的な会話は止まる事もなく、さらにヒートアップし続け、せっかく検索してたどり着いた店なれど、相対的に評価は上記の通りになった。

おそらく、座席の配列の問題などもあるのだろうが、あれだけしょうもない会話を大音量で続ける客をたしなめない所を見ると、店としてのレベルも低いのだろうと思わざるを得ない。

店と、あの現代に甦った細腕繁盛記の主人公どもに育てられた、それぞれの子どもの行く末を案ずるのみである。

そんな最低最悪のランチタイムの最後に、ジョニ・ミッチェルのサークルゲームがBGMでかかったのが何よりの救いだった。

これから誰かを殴りに行こう、または、どこかで押し入り強盗をやろうと考えている人には向いている店なのではないだろうか。

1500円以上も払って、昼飯を修行の時間にしたい人もかな。

追記・ご丁寧にカフェの定義までご教示してくださって痛み入りますが、さっさと料理を提供して、他のお席に移られますか？　のひと言を添えるだけでこちらの不愉快は避けられたのではないだろうか？

それゆえ『店としてのレベルも低いのだろうと思わざるを得ない』である。

こちらは二度と行かないので、大声でしょうもない会話に勤しむオバサンどもを大切になさるといいでしょう。
