Best little pour-over place and coffee roaster in the middle of the bustling Tsukiji fish market area. Don't expect a Starbucks experience, this is more of a one-man coffee stand on a busy worker alley feeding the area (though there are chairs for you to sit down and savor you're meticulously prepared cup of fresh roasted coffee). Hours are skewed for fishmongers and visitors alike, opening early most mornings. When trying to find it, go one street back from the address listed. Your hunt for good coffee will be rewarded.

A chill place next to the train tracks that makes great coffee (latte tastes like coffee not just milk) and where you can have a chat or keep to yourself. The vibe is really good for whatever you're feeling. Japanese and English can be used here and although the shop is not large, I've yet to go and feel uncomfortable inside as it isn't a place people seem to be studying all day and taking up tables.

Beautiful little neighborhood cafe run by a jolly barista. Loved the quality of the coffee beans used and of course the preparation with nice latte art on top. We asked the barista a few sakura related questions and he was glad to translate and help us out. He didn't have WiFi, but when we asked for it, he shared his mobile hotspot.

It was a memorable surprise for our trip to Tsukiji. The shop was actually a little stand in an alley of the fish market. The owner, who also sourced, roasted and dripped coffee himself as we learned later, was very friendly and we really enjoyed a conversation with him. His iced Regular Blend was nicely roasted and deliciously bitter, with a hint of the bean's original aromas intact. The Yirgachefe was fragrant and felt very nice to the mouth. Definitely...
