I'm an avid jazz fan who lives a couple of stations away from this café, so I was delighted to discover what appeared to be an excellent jazz kissa on my doorstep.
First the good news. The interior is small but meticulously laid out and appointed with lots of wood. A counter, and two tables for couples who want a discreet conversation. Jazz records line the walls along with a number of tastefully arranged photos of jazz musicians like Bill Evans, Coltrane, Miles etc. They even have a quote from Thelonious Monk etched in metal next to the cash register!
