Leave it to Chef Namba, who will tailor your dinner. Reservation is required- I got the hotel staff to make a reservation, they will ask you what your budget (there is a minimum which was about JPY 8,000) and will tailor accordingly. I am a sushi , sashimi lover and Namba won't disapoint you. It is very private in the sense that for your booking you have the full area (sushi bar) just for you and your party & for the duration of your dinner you can watch the chef cut/grill the fish- chef Namba is dedicated to you & your party for the entire dinner. The fish was all fresh and yummy- the most interesting was the egg (almost like cake texture but not quite) - I'm not a big fan of egg at a sushi restaurant but this was SO nice! Great food and service! We were there for lunch on a weekday and were lucky to be the only customers there then. The head chef made and served the fresh sushi right in front of us, while the other attendants helped to grill the eel and also offered to charge our phones. The people were very friendly and we had a good conversation with the head chef. Meanwhile the food was very delicious and we had a taste of over 10 seafood dishes (mostly sushi but also had a roll and crabs).
