Subway — Restaurant in Toyama

Likes: -I believe this is the only Subway shop in Toyama City, constant stream of customers even on weekday mid-afternoon -spoilt for choice, good variety -can customize sandwich; bread type, seasoning etc. Many options but felt stressed with people lining up behind me -felt ingredients are fresh and nicely chilled, the latter important for the vegetable ingredients -there are lunch combo discount sets and so called dinner discounts (after 4pm?) even though it closes at 1900hr

Dislikes: -machine-orders only, but there is English Language option; Staff (2 older ladies) only prep orders and do not attend to ordering process -no water offered -limited seating as it shares an open space with BookOff, quiet space as you can see shoppers browsing at shelves of second-hand goods -no comforting vibes; an...

It's a nice Subway sandwich shop. They have power plugs for your devices. Their food and service quality is consistent. If you go during peak hours, be prepared to wait. They can get busy, especially during weekend lunch time. They take cash and electronic payments. Dine in and take out are both available. 富山市のサブウェイの歴史は結構古く、ボクの記憶が確かならば1994年に富山市山室にオープンした「グリーンモール」というショッピングモールのなかにサブウェイはありました。 ボクの初サブウェイも、山室店でした。 オーダーメイドで作る、サンドイッチはとても新鮮でした。 しかし気づいた頃には山室のサブウェイの店舗は無くなっていましたね…。 そして、いつの日か10年以上?の月日を経て、黒瀬にサブウェイが復活。 相変わらずの郊外店で、クルマ以外では行きづらい。 しかも面白いのが、ブックオフと同じ建物内にあるということ。 もっというと、ブックオフに併設されている古着リサイクルショップの店内にあるような変なレイアウトです。 こういう形態のお店は見たことが無いなぁ。 味はその辺のサブウェイと変わらず、それなりに美味しいです。 結構ボリュームがあって、かつ野菜が多いのであっさりとしていて良いですね。 サブウェイってフレッシュな生野菜が多く、カロリーが少し気になっているときにもヘルシーで割りと食べやすいです。 さすがロゴにあるように「おいしい！をはさもう。野菜のSUBWAY」というだけあります。 ここ富山黒瀬店はちょっと落ち着かない雰囲気の店舗で、夜も20時までしかやっていないのが玉にキズですが、富山県内に2店舗しかない数少ないサブウェイなので、欠点は...
