Niku&Kome Toyohashi Shimoji — Restaurant in Toyohashi

(Updated review) Decided to update my review (original is below) since they have made a lot of improvements since then. It seems as though they have really listened to people’s comments and improved on the things that were previously lacking. The meat is better cooked when you recieve it (just a little less than medium-rare) and you can choose if you want to cook it more on the hot plate it’s served on or not. In order to protect you from oil splatter, they’ve also started pinning a paper towel over the meat (it’s not stuck directly on to the meat but pinned above it so it’s easy to remove without sticking or leaving residue) when you recieve it so you don’t have to worry about ruining your clothes (or getting hot oils from the meat on your skin). I still wouldn’t recommend showing up in your nicest clothes though because there is still some splatter and your clothes will stink when you leave. Kudos to the shop for putting Febreeze by the door though so you can get rid of some of the stink at least before you leave. The first time I went, one of the staff was serving rice to each customer, but now there is instead a machine where you can choose from several different settings how much rice you want. I think there are 5 different sizes, if I’m not mistaken, and there are refills if you want more. Each table has several different sauces and spices for you to choose from for your meat, however, unlike the first time I went there, the meat itself is actually nicely seasoned as well so it tastes good even without the sauces. There are also self-served side dishes for you to choose from over by the water-dispenser. If water isn’t your thing, they are now also serving different drinks like Coke or beer as well (you order it together with the rest of your meal from the order-machine at the entrance). The place is clean, even during the busier times of the day, and the staff is kind and helpful. All in all, I’d say that they’ve done a great job at listening to the criticism from customers and improving the shop even in such a short period of time. Now the boyfriend isn’t the only one who’s happy to come here for lunch or dinner anymore, I enjoy it as well. I’d recommend it.

(Original) The boyfriend loved it - mainly because it was cheap. Me, I wasn’t particularly impressed. As others have pointed out, the meat received was more or less raw all the way through. It was also very tough and I spent ten minutes chewing the same piece of meat. The meat itself is very basic with no special seasonings or anything. If you want flavor, you can pick bottled sauces at the table. Almost all the side dishes were gone while we were there as well. We were there during the evening when there was a lot of people so I don’t know if it’s better when there are less people. 2025/07月に再来店。 卵は有料に変わっていました。 ご飯食べ放題は変わらず。 お肉はメニューが増え、変わらず美味しく食べ応え有り。

👇以下は以前のコメント 月曜日17:00頃来店。 入店時は2〜3組のお客さんでしたが、15分程度で半分以上席が埋まりました。店内は広く、中央に1人用カウンター席、それを取り囲むように4人〜6人用のテーブル席が有ります。 お肉を選ぶと、肉そぼろ·甘いキムチ·野沢菜等食べ放題。生卵·温玉は1個/人まで。ご飯は小·中·大盛りから選べます。釜炊きが売りなので美味しかった。おかわりも自由ですが、カウンターまでおかわりをもらいに行かないといけません。 お肉は180g(¥1000)を注文しましたが、厚みは3〜4cmはあるので食べごたえが有ります。レアで仕上げでくれる為、そのままにしていても中まで火が通りません。しっかり火が通った方がいい方は、鉄板が熱いうちに薄めにカットして予熱で焼くと丁度いい感じになります。

店員さんは3名しか確認出来ませんでした。ほぼセルフ·平日ともあれば充分かも。ご飯を提供してくれる女性店員は、定型文しか発せず、こちらの質問は答えてくれません。 コスパがいい分、細かい事を要求する方はお奨め出来ません。お肉とご飯は美味しいので、それだけを楽しむ方にお奨めです。

愛知県豊橋市下地町、国道１号沿いの肉と米。

だいぶ前にも2回利用歴ありますが、GoogleMAPに載せてなかったようでした。改めて。

今回行こうと狙っていた理由は、本日から中部エリア5店舗限定でリリースされた、ワイルドハラミステーキを食べてみたかったため。

平日13時過ぎに立ち寄り、入店して券売機左側を見ると立て看板。そちらにワイルドハラミステーキ希望の場合はスタッフまでの文字。

近くのスタッフさんに聞くと、券売機に反映されていないため、直接支払いになりますとの事。現金にて。レシートはもらえません。

見た目がザクザクした感じ、ワイルド。 お支払いしたスタッフさん、焼き台スタッフさんからも、初メニューなので食べた感想を後で聞かせて欲しいとのお願いあり。

あとはいつも通り、ご飯とお供をもらってカウンター席へ。今日は月曜日でめかぶあり。ワカメもありました。

ワイルドハラミステーキ、カットして焼いて食べました。味変で1番合うと感じたのは岩塩＋粗挽き胡椒です。 あとは、通常のソースかけながら。

美味い、値段も880円と大変リーズナブル。ぜひともレギュラー化して欲しい品です。
