It is located just a few minutes' walk from the tourist attraction, Tatsuko-ro. The store is closed irregularly, and a scheduled closing day is displayed at the entrance to the store. There is also no parking lot for the store. Most customers park on the side of the road in front of the store and buy their goods. Why not stop by as a tourist while strolling around the castle town? It is also recommended as a souvenir! Both the red bean paste and kinako ohagi are 170 yen. Looking at the store, it seems that they also have red rice and mugwort mochi, but when I went there they only had ohagi. They apologize if they sell out, so if you plan to buy some, I recommend calling to place a reservation by the day before. Please enjoy. Payment is cash only. Please note.

Found the most delicious ohagi here! The shop is run by an elderly man who was incredibly kind, even though I don’t speak Japanese. The ohagi was soft, perfectly sweet, and clearly made with care. A wonderful little local spot — highly recommend stopping by!

Found the most delicious ohagi here! The shop is run by an elderly man who was incredibly kind, even though I don’t speak Japanese. The ohagi was soft, perfectly sweet, and clearly made with care. A wonderful little local spot — highly recommend stopping by!

8月15日(火曜日)出石町で出石ソバを召し上がって出石町の町並みを散歩中に夫婦で和菓子に目がなくて田吾作さんに目がとまりお店の入口付近にごまおはぎに誘われ店内には私世代のお姉さんがごまおはぎを「１つ下さい」と言って「店内でも食べていいですか」かと言って夫婦で１つでしたがお姉さんはなにひとつ嫌な顔せずな～んとごまおはぎに夫婦二人分の冷たいお茶出して頂き、また「こちらのテーブルでお食べになって下さい」と心配りしていただきました。恐縮です😅とにかくごまおはぎが気に入りもう１つおかわりするぐらい夫婦満足していました。機会があれば是非何回も立ち寄りたいお店です。私たち夫婦のイチオシのお店です。是非出石町に...
