Pino Rosso — Restaurant in Tsuwano

I am an Italian who judges Italian food with the severity of a Spanish Inquisitor, and I can say without hyperbole that Pino Rosso, one of the twin Italian-restaurant gems of Tsuwano (the other is Artigiano), is among the finest Italian restaurants in the world. In a time where I can personally attest it is difficult to get actually decent Italian food even in ROME anymore, the sumptuous fare in Pino Rosso only grows more brilliant, more powerful with every visit. It is one of the great ironies of the universe that I have to come once a year to a tiny Japanese mountain village to finally experience some outstanding Italian cuisine. I have been coming here for the last 4 annual trips and have never regretted coming. The food is so solid. The best Italian u can find outside Italy 🇮🇹, or maybe perhaps even better than a lot of true born Italian restaurants themselves. The owner chef will do omakase for us and cook us the numbers of meals without any repeat. This is a true showcase of his skills and knowledge. The best Italian restaurant in Tsuwano! The food is just incredible! The staff are very friendly too:) I always order their daily lunch that come with the assorted appetizer, pizza or pasta and drink after dish. There are 3-4 choices each for past and pizza.
