BAR REY — Restaurant in Ube

This place was a surprise!! Frist of all, the location. Its surrounded with cheap Izakaya(japanese bar kind of place.)and japanese so called show girl places. But once u see the enterance of this restaurant you'll image of an expensive and well presented staff. And the expectation do not end. Once ur in, the wooden tables and the glassed bar full of wonderful alcohol gives u the sense of "they know how it should be". My frd n I went there on Monday night, where there were only two staffs, one in the kitchen and one at the bar. Tho, there hospitality were great! The presentation of the food was beautiful and wonderful, carfully placed with elegance. The tastes and portiin was perfect. Not too spicy not too rich. I loved the chicken liver patty which was served with slices of apples and crackers. My favorite was the paella!!! It was if i was in spain. All was real!!! U can choose to have only meat, mixed, or squid sauce based paella. Ee chose the mix. I wasnt able to taste the alcohol but i sure think the wines they serve were tasty. Yumm. ２軒目という事もあり、お酒とおつまみの生ハムを注文。

カウンター席ということもあり、目の前で生ハムをカットする様子が見られました😆 お酒によく合う、ちょうどいい塩加減で完熟パインも美味しかったです❗
