I had a very bad waiting experience here, even though I filled the waiting list and waited for 34 mins,they skip me. I almost can't go inside the shop. There is a family behind me but they got inside the shop before me just because that are not happy they need to wait.

They are experts about tea knowledge and good quality dessert but 0% professionality and they don't care.

I almost can't get into the shop, NO MENU for me. One of the staff just pop the dessert on the table without bothering asking where it goes to and no fork until I ask.

It's not even a big shop and there are 3 staffs but they just some how very busy.

It's such a pity this tea house experience been ruined by those unprofessional and...

I went to this lovely café with my sister to try their famous "Matcha Mont Blanc" cake. They make it fresh in front of you if you sit at the counter. It's quite spectacular watching them assemble the cake. The cake itself was delicious and paired perfectly with their Hojicha tea. This café is part of a complex that also houses a tea shop, a tea blending center where specialists research and blend teas, and even a museum-like time room. It's definitely worth a visit. YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT OUT HERE! 😍 if you have the time as it’s a bit far from central Kyoto! They have the most delicious and matcha-rich desserts you could imagine! My matcha heart has been filled and will last for a while.

We had the Matcha Mont Blanc, Chestnut Dorayaki, Matcha Retro Pudding (SO GOOD!!), and iced Sencha and Gyokuro (we came in the summertime).
