Boulangerie Sens — Restaurant in Urayasu

my husband and I love baguette, authentic French ones which has crusty crunch , not japanese style ones which is just a shape, relatively soft.. Anyway while I was looking for bakery, this place stood up, so we got a mission! The store is little, just a few people can get in, we just waited outside when we got there. we get " baguette 24" and regular ones, fig and walnut bread, it might have orange, too ? forgot..which had a good texture, denser than normal snack breads in Japan. slightly sweet and nuttiness. The test for the 2 kinds of baguette was pretty good :) We both prefer the special ones called " baguette 24" . it has slightly crunch than the other, and the slightly less chewyer than the other ( in our opinion ) . However something is missing both baguette, they are good but not excellent like I can't stop eating it til it's gone. we will be back for when we are close by because they are...

This place is good with the possibility to be great. As it stands, the staff is very friendly and the breads I chose were pretty good. However, even on a not busy day some of the popular choices seemed to be sold out before noon and the options felt somewhat limited if not a fan of curry/cheese types of things (the whole bottom shelf during my trip). I was lucky to be the only one in the shop, but if there was a small line, there could also be some pressure to hurry since everything is behind a display case. To be fair, it's probably unavoidable for the size of the shop.

In summary: If you live nearby, you may find a lot to love here. If not, because of the uncertainty of stock, hard to wholeheartedly...
