Great place to dine when visiting Disneyland. Food at Disney and its surrounding hotel were mediocre and overpriced. Kaisen sushi was just a 5mins taxi ride from Disneyland, that cost around 1000-2000 yen. We left disneyland near closing time, and managed to have a quick late dinner.
The premium sushi were generously topped with tuna, uni, roe that overflowed. Fish cuts and oysters were huge. Restaurant was beautifully decorated in Japanese style. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with foreigners even when they don’t speak any English. And English menu was available.

The ordering process was explained to me and the food was prepared by the chefs right across the counter in plain view.
The food was amazing! This was my first time having sushi in Japan and my expectations were exceeded for sure.
Before my meal was even completed, I knew I would be returning for another meal while in the area visiting Disneyland.
I had an assortment of sushi/sashimi as well as some Hot Sake and Beer.
Great food, great staff, great prices.

Read moreLooking for conveyor belt sushi near Disney resort and found this one with a very short taxi ride. If you come from Disney, make sure you plan earlier before their last call. They have English printed menu and just ordered via item number, quantity, whether you want wasabi with it or not. They also have special menu item on the wall and a paper on the table.
