Bit pricey and a little underwhelming when it comes to food. I'm usually less critical but the quality wasn't matching the price, sorry.
Bread is all you can eat and tastes good actually - it's definitely much better than the average Japanese bakery. Their baguette is a pass and that's from a former Parisian.
The atmosphere is great - both the interior and exterior feel really fancy and comfortable. Seats and tables are nice and large too.
We ordered the mussels, the pâté and the carpaccio and unfortunately I wasn't too impressed.
Pâté was really ambitious, it's close to something really delicious but tasted a bit bland and dry unfortunately. It could do with a side of butter at least (not as an extra). The plate is very nicely dressed.
Mussels were absolutely overcooked and some of them were abnormally bitter. That's the lowest of the meal.
Wagyu carpaccio could have been great if it were treated like carpaccio. It's trying to do too much: you have delicious beef, nicely sliced... but it's drowned in a sweet vinegary dressing with loads of things going around: onions, bell peppers, capers... It's meant to be an expensive meat carpaccio. A salt and olive oil dressing would have been enough. I didn't get to enjoy the beef because the dressing was really overpowering. I feel the beef deserves more respect.
Drinks were good however - didn't try their coffee so can't comment.
