This small restaurant in Uwajima specialises in yakiniku, aka meat and vegetables that you grill yourself and dip into a sauce or two to make it perfect.
I went there with my husband's parents (the ones I need to thank for recommending the place!) and we had two different cuts of wagyu and assorted intestines. What a treat! The meat was soft and the sauce a salty and slightly spicy soy sauce-based delight.
Highball or beer are highly recommended to accompany the rich taste of the meat :)
