Conveyor belt sushi restaurant Sushiemon — Restaurant in Uwajima

This is a local conveyor belt sushi chain. They have a branch in matsuyama but it seems this shop is the original store.

The quality of food is pretty good but there are better sushi restaurants (not high end) out there. Not to mention this place is very popular, there is always a line.

Hint: you need to take number first, so some local people didnt park the car, they took a number first and then try to find parking. When I first arrived here, there is no parking because its completely full at around 1230. I came back around 230 pm and even then it is still quite full. There were only 2 or 3 spots in thr parking lot.

Considering the wait time, I would rather eat somewhere else but the sushi is decent.

They have english menu and take credit card so its pretty...

We arrived at 5pm and there was already a queue, so be aware of that. We got a table after about 15-20 minutes, though I expect it be worse when it's closer to dinner time. The food was great though, and it didn't take too long for it to arrive. Some of our drinks and desserts arrived via the little robot in the aisle. One downside though was that some items were already out of stock, I assume from the lunch rush. Popular local place though, so come early if you're looking for...

Some of the items took well over forty minutes to deliver (aburi tai, for example).

The quality of the neta was top notch, as expected due to the location of the restaurant. I had 15 plates of various sushis and it came to around ¥4,200, which was excellent value.
