Taga Shrine — Attraction in Uwajima

This is a shrine where the main selling point is that they have a very large phallic object made of wood. Said object is displayed on the side of one of the buildings of the shrine, but is obscured by branches and leaves. I'm aware that they do have a festival where they parade it around town.

This place doesn't really make the official tourism guides. I don't think there's very much appeal to visiting this shrine. Watch out...

This is an interest shrine which I have no idea what they worship. It is know for a wooden sculpture of male reproductive organ that is over two meters long. I was expecting more but that was it. There is a smaller rock sculpture but not as amazing. Other than that, there is a sort of a sex museum next to the shrine which I did not visit and not...

愛媛県宇和島市にある、とっても小さな神社です。 宇和島駅から徒歩15分程度の場所。(駐車場もあるので車でも行けます) 近くに和霊神社という大きな神社があります。

男女のご縁や、子どもとのご縁を結んでくれる縁結びの神社として、何度かお参りに行っています。 自分の事を願うより、誰かのお願いをする、誰かにお願いしてもらう方が良いのかも?と思う神社です。

個人的には、とてもご縁がある神社で たまたまだと思いますが誰かのお願いをすると90％くらいの確率で、ご縁が結ばれています。(恋人に関しては長く続く、続かないには個人差がありますが。。。)

併設されている性資料館は展示品も多く、館内には飾りきれていない資料もたくさんあります。
