Hesomagari — Restaurant in Wakkanai

We came to this place after finding out that Urokutei was fully booked...and what a great find. Place was very unassuming and we were not even sure if it was open - we came at 5pm after the ferry ride from Rebun island.

No English menu was provided so we used an app to translate. Ordered the sushi set and chirashi set...plus anago and fugu tempura. All dishes were superb - highly...

行きたかった店が日曜定休だったため、仕方なく訪問。 電話の時から嫌な予感はしていたが、見事に的中。

・基本ずっとタメ語。老夫婦にとって自分が年下なのは間違いないが、初対面の相手に電話でも対面でも敬語が使えないのは一社会人としていかがなものか。

・質問に答えない。 「今日の夜は予約できますか？」「うちは遅くまでやってないから早く来てもらわないと困る」（まず予約が可能かを知りたいんだが…） 「（ラストオーダーは20時半とのことなので）では20時に行っていいですか？」「他のお客さんもいるから予約した方がいい」（いやだから予約できますかって最初に聞いたろうが…） 「今日の雲丹は稚内産ですか？」「色々ある」（今日出した雲丹二貫の産地はさすがに一ヶ所だろ…）

・意味不明な理由でラストオーダーを早める。20:15頃に「他に注文はないか？シャリがなくなるからそろそろ閉めたい」と言われる。他に客がいないのにシャリがなくなるってどういう状況だよ。
