【心温まる一休み:絶景と美味しさのハーモニー】
Nestled beside a serene river, お休処 対面石 is a charming little spot where tradition and hospitality come together effortlessly. The warm, homey atmosphere made us feel like locals the moment we stepped inside, with the radio playing nostalgic Japanese tunes and news in the background.
I tried the Imo-ni-soba and zunda mochi—both were exceptional. The hearty soba was perfect for the chilly December weather, and the zunda mochi was a delightful reminder of the region’s unique flavors. Portions were generous, leaving us more than satisfied.
The couple running the establishment were incredibly welcoming, their hospitality adding a personal touch to the experience. The restaurant also offers a stunning river view from the window seats, making the meal feel like a tranquil retreat.
This place is a gem worth discovering, especially for anyone seeking delicious local specialties in a cozy setting.

Rhe Nameko mushroom is amazingly umami and the broth of the soba is something to devour as it was warming and thick almost like thickened clear broth. The stew was also another winner but as most people ordered the set, I think it was best to order the set to get a best of all the worlds. This is a great little spot to warm up or cool down after an epic climb and truly part of the...
