カフェ杜と雫 — Restaurant in Yokohama

Dined here after 1 pm on Friday, and we called the cafe before leaving because we wanted to make sure it’s not full. We were seated right away. Since it was hot and humid, we sat indoors where air-conditioning was fully on. Placed an order using a QR code, which was fairly straightforward. We waited a bit for our orders, and we were very happy when we were served. I believe it took a bit of time because our vegetables were freshly steamed. Other reviews mentioned about not having dressings, but i thought that it was fine because we were able to enjoy the veggies as they are supposed to taste. I enjoyed both curry flavored, btw. My sister ordered “Kikori” curry, and she likes it. We then ordered pistachio & orange waffle, affogato and herb tea. The waffle was on the crunchy side, but the flavor of the honey (it’s a special honey!!) We never heard of “sour honey,” which, I understand is created through the natural fermentation process. ずっと行ってみたいお店でしたので、とても楽しみに伺いました。

30分ほど待ったあげく、席が空かないのでランチ提供はできないかもと言われました。 目の前に空いている席があったので、そこではダメか聞いたところ、今は使えない席と言われました。 ランチ終了ギリギリで席が空きなんとか通していただきました。 急いでオーダーしないと迷惑かと思い慌てていたのですが、初めてと伝えてもオーダーの仕方を丁寧に教えていただけず何度もテラス席と店内を往復し質問。 なんだか面倒そうな店員さん… オーダー用紙に記入して渡しに行くシステムですが、記入方法がわかりにくい。

やっとオーダーできたと思ったら、念押しで食後にとお願いしていたかき氷が1番はじめに届きました。 かき氷は一度下げていただき、やっとランチが来たと思ったら食事と一緒にとお願いしていたドリンクが来ません。 もう諦めて何も言わず来るのを待ちましたが、案の定かき氷とドリンクが同時に来ました。 かき氷もかなりの量なので、ドリンクが飲みきれず…持ち帰りをお願いしたら容器代がかかるとのこと。 それは仕方がないと思ってお願いしましたが、今度はレジの打ち方がわからない様子…しばらく待たされ支払い終わっても、お待たせしましたも、ありがとうございましたの一言も何も無し。 ロケーションも良いのに、全くゆっくりできず散々でした。 帰り際、使えないと言っていた席に通されているお客さんがいて、最後まで腑に落ちない対応のお店でした…セルフサービスの仕組みは良いと思いますが、セルフでもお客さんが少なくても回っていないです。
