Bubble Over — Restaurant in Yokohama

Was The best American style restaurant in japan! This is an updated review. Before I even took a bite out of the turkey a young waiter comes up right away to ask me how it tasted um. Well here is my horrible experience.

I went there for thanksgiving and pre ordered their turkey plate that completely disappointed. The lights blinking dimmed to dimmer was a disturbing distraction but at least something to take your mind and conversation off the horribly cooked turkey plate. The turkey was juiced in the wrong way mostly skin with a raw texture that was disgusting I was unable to even finish half. But i was still hungry and wanted to give what used to be a good restaurant another chance and oh was I disappointed again back to back loses! I ordered the beef tacos and the meat was so cold I could tell it came fresh from the freezer to the microwave to my plate.i know tacos on thanksgiving but they where good before so how could i go wrong. What a sad day for this once amazing place. The others in my party felt the same way and were also unable to eat there plate. They have lost a good customer at least until the taste of the horrible turkey day goes away if it does. Was not worth the price or time. Do not...

Genuine American cuisine! Bubble Over has been the strongest recommendation from my local Japanese friends, with good reason. My wife and I both natives to Seattle Washington USA were beyond satisfied with the independence day special menu! The Lincoln Burger: double patty, steak, onion rings, American style bacon, and I'm not sure what else... The first bite consumed me with so many intricate flavors from each layer of this master piece. The burger came with a side of crispy fries.

Cheesey bbq pulled pork fries: the name says it all, but what you won't expect is a true southern style bbq flavor!

Peanut butter milkshake: I'm not sure how they managed it, but it did not taste like a run of the mill milkshake. It was very evenly frozen and creamy icecream accompanied by the most pleasingly natural peanut taste I've found yet.

Every part of this meal was beyond exceptional! My expectations were high as an American in a foreign country, but I think Bubble Over could teach Americans a thing or two about making outstanding food. 10/10 recommend to anyone...
