DUMBO PIZZA FACTORY（ダンボピザファクトリー） 青葉台 — Restaurant in Yokohama

I had a lunch special (Margherita pizza with a salad and set drink) all for 880 yen, usually 980 but down right now as a grand opening deal. I had an additional 3 piece plate of buffalo chicken wings, which I haven’t had in Japan in forever. All food very good, especially good for the price. You can see into an open kitchen where the pizzas are made in a nice brick oven and the dough is spread by hand. Awesome selection of offerings that reminds me of a tasteful gastropub stateside, without the insane tipping culture.

Food was very, very good! A bit pricy for what it was, but overall delicious and enjoyable. The staff were great for the most part.. mostly young people who were patient and kind with my friend and I’s terrible Japanese speaking skills. Thank you! However there was one man a little older than the rest who was not very pleasant. He was unfriendly and made us feel rushed and somewhat on edge in the restaurant, it felt directed at our table as we were the only foreigners in the establishment, but maybe he is like this with everyone? Sat down and staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the food although a bit pricey was high quality pizza that is rare in this area.
