Kura Sushi — Restaurant in Yokohama

A good restaurant to avoid! The staff here is very unfriendly, the workers are not much good organized, mistakes seems to be their image of service. The food was many times not served even after 20 minutes of waiting, we also have to call them to get our ordered food. Many menus are sold out early at the day and the selection seems more less then in other restaurants of their chain. I like Kurasushi normaly because of the great selection of food and fair prices. But this restaurant in center kita has in my opinion the most awfull service I ever seen here in Japan.

But I am happy not far from there there is another kurasushi restaurant in the Minamo Mall, where the employed makes a good job! Guest feel welcome and the staff is motivatet and even...

Unfortunately the worst branch of Kura Sushi I’ve ever been to. This was my third branch and I was so surprised by the lack of selection in the menu. They also had the menu tablet screwed above the conveyor belt area, which was really too high so it was uncomfortable. I brought my mom here for her first time and wish we went somewhere else.

I also put in an order for a takeout and got a queue number. I sat outside and my number was never called onscreen. I had to go in after 20 minutes and it seemed like my order was ready way before. Really disappointing.

Still love Kura...

„Ok“ Kaiten Sushi. Ignore the 5 star reviews, you can tell these people don’t know Sushi (and tellingly are mostly foreigners), but at the same time, it’s stable quality at a reasonable price and has a plate game (bikkura pon), which is nice for kids, so it’s not bad either.

Still, there are much better Kaiten Sushi chains to be found and as some other reviewers noted, Kura Sushi has less choice than most competitors, so if you have the chance, perhaps go for one...
