Toki Sushi — Restaurant in Yokohama

Hidden gem if you are looking for a decent sushi place but don’t want to wait in the queue or those instagram places.

Fresh, nice cut sushi. Seems like a little community centre full of locals (always a good sign) And they do a dried cooked melon roll which looks so underwhelming but a must try deliciousness.

This restaurant gives you the family restaurant kind of vibe. I was impressed with the level of care and attention to details that they have. A bit difficult to order in English as they don’t have an English menu, however the lady made it easier to order. They are not pricey at all, which made me question how could they support the staff and the quality of food that they have....

2021年6月 ランチで伺いました。 場所は本牧通り沿いでアメリカ坂の交差点のところです。周辺に駐車場はありません。 お店の外観は黄色の土壁ですぐにわかります。 店内はとても4名テーブルが2卓、カウンター席が6席ぐらいでしょうか？綺麗にされていて気持ちが良いです。コロナ対策で二酸化炭素濃度測定もされています。テーブル席にはアクリル板が立ってます。 ランチのメニューはニギリ、チラシが一人前1000円、1.5人前1500円でリーズナブル。おまかせニギリは2420円、あられチラシ900円です。ニギリ1.5人前、チラシ1人前を注文。 お寿司の他にミニサラダとお味噌汁が付きます。 サラダはカイワレとレタスです。ドレッシングがかかって来ますがちょっとしょっぱい。あお味噌汁は海老の頭が入っていてとても美味しいです。ニギリは十貫と干瓢巻きとカッパ巻きです。一貫の大きさが小ぶりで好みです。特別なネタではないですが新鮮ですし、酢飯も酢が柔らかい感じで良いです。 チラシの一人前は小丼でちょっと小さいですがネタは7種程度入り良いと思います。 チラシを頼んだ妻は海老蟹アレルギーで伝えると対応して...
