やよい軒は、全国どこで食べても、おかずは可もなく不可もなく。食べ終えだあと、今日は何食べたっけ？みたいやな、印象になかなか残らないけど、それだけ日本の外食産業のレベルが高くなったのだろうと思います。唐揚げ定食を注文し、ちょっとだけ塩をかけて食べたいなあと思いました。お店の方に、私のわがままで、お塩をいただきましたが、店にないらしく、塩胡椒ならある、といただきました。笑。塩のない飲食店ってあるんですね。いただいておきながらすいません。。ただやはりなんといっても、お米だけは本当においしいですね。プレナスグループですから。おかわりいただかなくてよいのにおかわりしてしまいますね。食券機で万札で買った場合、「釣り札をお取りください。釣り札をお取りください。」と言う、早口言葉としつこさだけは、やよい軒としての文化ですね。釣り札を忘れたら大変ですからね。

[店員が最悪] 夜の10時頃、2名で来店すると、店員Aから4人がけのボックス席へ案内され着席。

すると、途中で隣の4人がけテーブルに若い女性客が3名座った。その後、少しして男性3名も来店。

すると店員Aの知り合いなのか？その3名も隣の4人がけテーブルに詰めて座り始め、ぎゅうぎゅうに座った状態で私達が退くのを待っている感じの状況になった。

するとまた数人、知り合いの客が来店。どうやら彼らは私達の席も合わせて使いたいようであった。

隣のグループとは何度も目が合い、さらには店員Aまでもがまだ食べ終えていないのに｢食事を下げても良いか｣と聞いてきて不快極まりなく…

せっかく綺麗な店内でゆったりとした席に案内され食事を楽しんでいたのに最後は追い出されるかのように最悪な気分で店を後にした。
