Bistro J’ai Faim is an excellent restaurant right outside of Keikyu-Kurihama. There is an extensive wine menu at a variety of prices. The menu has a bit of everything - fresh salads, crispy prawns, meat and pasta dishes - but my favorite is the fish in the mustard cream sauce. It is absolutely delicious and something I can’t make at home. Be sure to ask for the pan (bread) - made fresh daily. It’s divine. I thought it came with dinner, but I believe it is by request.
I’d suggest a reservation. Sometimes the restaurant is empty, but other times, we’ve seen people turned away.

The service from waiting staff has, however, always been a problem. Not very refined and sometimes abrupt. It's better now than in the past. The wine by the glass is all good, especially the Reisling and Calabretta Cala Cala. Care must be taken though when buying a bottle to avoid disappointment. Jai faim is a French food that makes by japanese people.
Atmosphere : The place was designed as a casual japanese interior design. Calm, clean and comfortable to have a lunch or dinner in both special day and daily.
Food : Incredible, every dishes they make are perfectly cook with a high quality of ingredient. Even some ingredient is a normal ingredient but they can represent it in a special way. I can't tell how the taste was specifically but the perfect combination of taste and texture is incredible.
