Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Yokosuka

First I will start off with the Pizza here is really good and I have been here plenty times with no issues.

Now, i arrived at 8:25 I was helped immediately and gave my order. When I gave my card to pay. The worker walked away and came back about 1 minute later. He said the card machine was down and I had to pay with cash. I have had plenty experience with card machines and could tell they had closed out the till early since the ”close out receipt” was still there.

I asked to speak to the manager. When she came she said the same thing. I explained how I knew the machine would worked perfectly fine and that it’s not right to turn away customers by lying “that it’s not working”. She than admitted that they close out the credit card machine at 8:30. I said will it is still only 8:27 and you should accept all forms of payment until you are closed. She than took my card and made my payment.

I fully understand making preparations to close the store but to turn away customers especially sailors who might not be able to leave base is beyond horrible and...

I ordered a personal cheese pizza and the lady who took my order was nice. I stood by, waiting for my pizza and I was so tired. It took them a long while to the point that I just wanted to get out of there. After 30 minutes they call my number I repeat it back to the guy he kept asking me for the number of my order and me confirming yes 66 a cheese pizza . and he asked me for the receipt. I know I have it somewhere but I couldn't look for it because I got mad. And I didn't want to get angry at them or start yelling, so I asked him keep it for himself and left. But I'll never...

This is our go-to place for take out pizza dinners so far. It's a lot cheaper than any Pizza But off base. The quality of the pies is pretty standard Pizza Hut fare. They do a decent job with the stuffed crust.

Calling in orders often proves challenging. We've had more than one occasion where no one picked up or we were put on hold a seemingly forgotten. I've had to go in and order in person. The location is also kinda out of the way which is nice for folks in the area but it was an adventure finding it...
