If you are craving something really authentic without any Japanese influence, this place will scratch that itch like none other. And the guys here speak English. The curries/sauces are totally amazing. The naan is also so friggin good. I would absolutely go 5 stars if it weren't for two things. I have heard wonderful things about Bishnu in Jumonji, Akita, so I was very excited to try it. Service was quick and the wait staff were lovely. It was nice to be able to watch them making the naan in the back and the kitchen chatter. It felt homely and warm.

お昼はラーメンを始め蕎麦などの麺類が多く、他には定食や中華・焼肉などですが、そう言えば最近カレー食べてないな、と気が付きました。そこで思い出したのが横手市十文字町にある「ビシュヌ」さん。

いつ以来か覚えてない程久しぶりの訪問でしたが、美味しかったのは憶えてます(笑)

スパイスの効いた本格的なインドカレー。ランチメニューはナン又はライスから選択で、しかもお代わり自由。しかもドリンクセットとかなりリーズナブル。

迷ったのですが、「チョイスカレーセット」をオーダー。「ナン」をチョイス、カレーは「キーマ」を、ドリンクはもちろん「ラッシー」を(^^♪

先にも書きましたがスパイスが効いている本格的なインドカレー。でも日本人に合わせて辛さはマイルドにしているのでかなり食べやすい。もちろん辛さは選べますので、本場並みの刺激を求める方はお店の方に伝えればＯＫ。ちなみに私はノーマルをオーダーで、程良い辛さとスパイスの刺激を楽しみました。

ナンは、少し甘めの味付け。焼き加減が絶妙で、香ばしい香りと素材の小麦粉の味を堪能できます。カレーに合わせたんでしょう、相性が良いのでバクバク食べてしまい、調子こいてお代わりまで(笑)

仕上げは、ラッシー。その独特の甘酸っぱい味が、カレーの刺激を和らげてくれます。せっかく本格的なインドカレーを食べるなら欠かせないアイテム。
