琉球千年豚 — Restaurant in Yomitan

This was, without doubt, the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The staff saw us come in but acted like we didn’t exist. When I said we were four people including a baby, the woman looked at us with a disgusted face and reluctantly asked the baby’s age. She kept going back and forth to the kitchen, whispering with someone, and completely ignored us afterward. No greeting, no explanation — just pure rudeness. If they didn’t want to serve us, they should’ve had the decency to say so instead of humiliating us like that. Shameful attitude and zero hospitality. What a horrible way to welcome...

Hidden gem in Yomitan serving various pork dishes at a decent price. They serve shabu shabu in the evening but I come for their lunch menu which is from 11 to 3 and last order at 2:30. The tonkatsu set is very filling and I love the perilla salt they serve on the side. The meat soba was delicious with 3 thick slices of pork belly, scallion oil, and a light broth. Delicious and filling. The rare pork was sold out, but the next option was just as good. The full set does a good job of filling you up! The pork came on the side for the soba, which was great for my girlfriend as she doesn’t eat pork. More for me!
