My family of four had difficulty finding a restaurant on the island that would accommodate us for dinner, despite many having empty tables. This restaurant graciously welcomed us. We called ahead, and the chef spoke excellent English. The food was delicious, the prices very reasonable, and the portions generous. What a fantastic place! We each got a tacorice set and beer, which was a bit under ¥2,000. The tacorice set was huge, coming with some fresh sashimi and miso soup, as well as some pickled veggies.

The menu description should not be "Tempura style squid" if it is not made with fresh, thick slices of real squid.
