Terrible experience. When I got there I had a young woman take my name down. I even showed her in Japanese. She told me it would be a 20-45 minute wait. I said okay. I waited almost an hour. I then asked a gentleman if my name had been called in case I missed it. He said no. I then asked, how many more people were in front of me. He checked the lists and said my name wasn't on it. He had no reservation for me and I would need to wait an additional 30 more minutes- there were eight people in front of me. He did not care at all that they just wasted my time. I then asked for the Manager. All the manager could say was sorry. The lack of customer service, competence and care of this place is absurd. A better manager would not have only apologized but offered to make amends by moving me to the top of the list and giving me the next available seat. It was their mistake, not mine! They didn't only waste my time but also wasted my train money to get there. What an incompetent and inconsiderate place. Since management is okay with wasting people's time and then dismissing them, as they did to me tonight, I will never recommend nor go there again. What an upsetting and...
Read moreZushi is a nice beach side town, but kind of out of the way for most tourist. Travelers typically visit Kamakura if they’re in this area, and for good reason, Kamakura is impressive. Zushi is more of a local treasure, but don’t let that stop you from visiting. There is a lot to do here in summer, especially on the water. For those of you who do venture this way and need sustenance, Seaside Italian Cantina is an excellent choice. The food is good, and watching the pizza being made is a spectacle worth catching, particularly as they bring them on the elevator. The staff are super friendly and helpful, some of the best staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to be served by. A great location for birthday parties or similar events. They have a lot of...
Read moreThe view was great but the service was not. It took about 10 minutes to get service after we were seated. We felt ignored. I got the carbonara pasta. It was ok. My friend wanted to finish her meal at home but she was not allowed to take it to go. She was pretty upset. When we paid for our bill, my friend was in front of me. She paid and then another couple was waived in front of me. The cashier wouldn't even look at me. There is parking and we were given a ticket to validate parking. That was nice. Overall I would not return. I wish we would've gone to Kamakura pasta in...
