This place does the best Pizza I know we can only give 5 star. But if I had my way I will give this place 10 star for the quality of its pizza. I had the Burrata pizza and my wife and son had the fungi pizza. They were so delicious and well made. The quality of the cheese and all the ingredients were of very high quality. This is place is a family run place you can feel the passion and enthusiasm of the place. The owner ally a wonderful lady with a team of amazing people like John Lincoln Anthony Elvis and others including the excellent chef leads with example. Nothing is too much trouble very accommodating and always making sure you are enjoying your food. The location is right on the beach and you get the most beautiful view of the bay. To run and manage this restaurant you really have to have the passion and dedication and you could see ally and her family run it with so much love smile and happiness. We recommend this place highly for its delicious Pizza’s and excellent service. We enjoyed the pizza and ice cream so much we are going again. Make sure you book in advance as this...

We came to this cafe because we heard great things about it. We parked at the top of the hill and took the beach walk down the cafe. It's quite steep in places so keep that in mind if you're not very good on your feet. The food was very nice, ordered the calzone, no problems whatsoever. One thing that bothered me though were the toilets. There was an open window in the gents, that opened straight out into a store room, I thought: "that's weird". I could see the wine, orange juice and other things stored away, I could even see a sign warning about cross contamination on a fridge, kind of ironic. Let's be possitive here and just hope people flush with the seat down... think of that while you're supping on your white granache! I only realised when one of the staff walked past while I was stood there actually using the facilities! This prompted me to check the Jersey food standards website and this cafe got 5/5, so maybe it's not an issue. I just found it odd. The food really was nice and it's a shame more that half this review has been about...

I love food. Especially when home made with tasty, local, sustainable ingredients that do not need much sugar or salt. Quite unique these days. Therefore, I wish could have tried the whole menu of the Portelet Bay Cafe, though in that case my recommendations would have to toooo long. Just a couple:

We ordered the anti-pasti sharing platter with garlic bread. Tasty, fresh bits and bobs, really good pesto. Then the pizza's. Perfect crust, not too salty with yummy toppings. It made the expectations for the deserts very high...though still no dissapointments. We ordered the seasonal crubmle with rubarb (like your mum makes it), the best moist, dark brownie you can dream of and a very good pecan pie. At last, I would recommend to try their Chai Latté if you like it creamy, spicy, and...

My favourite beach cafe in the world ! Haven’t eaten pizza since I was last in Jersey at Portelet cafe 2 years ago as I said it just can’t be beaten for location, atmosphere and taste! Fabulous staff , great beach . Good for early morning dips in bay as so quiet and so beautiful . Steep steps to restaurant but well worth the effort . Very memorable meal . We loved it so much we came back twice in 1 week Book in advance as gets full at busy times but an absolute must if you come to Jersey as it will be an unforgettable experience . We loved watching people arriving on boats just to collect their take away pizzas . Thank you for looking after us all so well on our visit to Jersey ! 🤩

I'm probably the most fussy person I know when it comes to eating and dining. And today for our Sunday chill day we decided to go to portelet bay cafe having seen their fabulous posts and heard good reviews. It absolutely blew my expectations, first of all the cafe is just so cute and beachy, second the food was made with love and care. My hubby's pizza was the best I've had in Jersey and my crab linguini decorated with edible flowers and cherry tomatoes was gorgeous! We will definitely be back thank you 😍 The dog was so handsome and the music was fab. The perfect chill out beach vibe cafe 🌊🐾 The walk is so worth it!!

Nice little hidden cafe just off the beach in Portelet. You could go for a good dip and have lunch here. The food is good, the view is great and the service is excellent. We ordered pizzas and beer and the prices seemed reasonable enough for the experience you get. You can park your car in the portelet car parking a little further away from the restaurant and walk down here. Spent a good 3 hours here. Highly recommend this place as a must-do when you visit jersey. 10/10.
