Fantastic pub with lots of history and an excellent food menu. We enjoyed it so much we had to return before the end of our holiday. The duck spring rolls from the specials menu were particularly good, but over our two visits we also enjoyed the espetada (the beef was a decent quality steak, cooked rare to order, and the chicken and chorizo was well cooked and tender), the south Indian chicken curry and lasagne all appeared homemade and fresh. Unfortunately we couldn't book ahead with having our dog, but happily they managed to squeeze us in both times. Also a great spot for an after dinner walk on the beach.

One of Jerseys finest establishments and a must visit if on the island. With coal fires keeping you warm during the colder months, situated on the beach. Serving fine ales, wines, beers & spirits. The food is superb be sure to book as places fill up quick especially at the weekend. I recommend the fish dishes, with lobsters, crabs & fish caught locally from the bay on its doorstep. Be sure not to miss a chance to eat or drink a must if in Jersey

Amazing pub, great beer selection and location. They had sport on but decided to put football on instead of the rugby when I asked politely when I arrived..instead of explaining why the football had to go on, they just changed the channel...not sure anyone was watching the football (tbf was Man United Vs Wolves so not surprised #UTC) will recommend the pub to friends and family!

Smugglers Sunday roast is the best !! |Choice of 3 meats full trim roast, fish ,vegan veggie all catered for ! ||Eaten there many days over many years and never been disappointed but today we had an exceptional Sunday roast !!!!|We come from a jersey family who have always enjoyed this beautifully unspoilt pub ! So to sit and reminisce of old times with visiting family over a good glass of wine with the fire roaring whilst it’s raining buckets outside was a delight !| the food topped it all !! Everyone is catered for, the staff are the most warm welcoming people !!! The whole experience an absolute pleasure !!!! |Highly recommend !!! |Nice to know a great place which accommodates weird eaters and intolerances without making you feel like the weirdo !!!| Keep up the good work guys !!! |Thanks for all your hard work...

Mixed feelings about this place. The bones of this building old and full of character and nothing too drastic has been done to permanently ruin it but it looks like nothing's been done to it since 1970s. The only bar is quite nice apart from the big TV showing sport but this may have been because of the Euros. No draught bitter on and surly barman didn't make us feel welcome. Locals very nice though and gave up seats for us. Rest of pub seems to be given over to food and there was a small but interesting menu. Dining areas dominated by fluorescent lit fast food type counters. Shame as this could be a wonderful looking place. I'm sure the locals love it but it just feels like a missed opportunity. Fantastic setting by the beach and great view...
