Ranalo Foods Ltd Dala Branch- (K'osewe) — Restaurant in City of Kisumu

Its the Kisumu branch of the famous Nairobi restaurant. It's popular for traditional cuisine like fish, aliya, and traditional vegetables. It's tucked away in a quiet area of Milimani not too far from town. They have mostly outdoor seating and a main elevated restaurant area with comfortable seating and it's right next to the wall and large open air opening through which you can see the road outside. The service is very quick and once you are seated a server will approach you. I ordered athola which is grilled meat which is cooked in a stew. It wasn't anything to write home about and whatever spices they used in the soup never stopped smelling on my hands for a day or so. Maybe some of their other dishes are more delicious since I have read the reviews here that seem to suggest that. They have a carwash within the compound while you have your food. The menu items are relatively pricey and maybe that has to do with the location in the high end area of town. There are also big screen TVs which are perfect for a weekend of sports watching. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ranalo Foods Ltd Dala Branch (K'osewe) with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience! We visited to treat my grandfather, and my uncle joined us to make it a special occasion.

The food was exceptional! We ordered the fish with traditional veggies and brown ugali, and every bite was a delight. The flavors were authentic and rich, and the portion sizes were generous.

People,let me tell y'all,I was brought a biiig,Huge fish well made in coconut cream,with Ugali n kienyeji veges.. Well I managed to eat all of it,but on a normal day,I could not eat all of it.

I was served by a guy called Fred and he's so gracious,God bless him,he walked me to my house since it was a bit late.So grateful for Him.

I had a cold drink,the ambience is so calm.i'll do my dinners here for the few days I'll be around
