I went there on the 31st of December with some friends for lunch. The ambiance was great, so was the service we received from the waiting staff. So in terms of service and look/feel/vibe, it was nice (although the same tune kept playing on a loop).
THE FOOD on the other-hand was deplorable, if anything an insult that they thought it ideal and suited to be served to diners. We ordered 3 starters, (oysters, calamari, and crab), the Oysters, not only had they not been shucked, but they weren't fresh at all, leaving an unpleasant after-taste in one's mouth. The calamari had been served on small slices of bread, the presentation was the same for the crab (we actually thought they served us two of the same dish before realizing they were different).
Main Course: Ocean Platter, consisting of (lobster, calamari, octopus, and shrimp). Anybody who has experience with seafood will be able to tell when something is off with their dish. My friends and I being born and raised on the coast are familiar with sea-food and we noticed instantly that the lobster was grainy (meaning not fresh, given that fresh lobster is pleasantly chewy and aromatic) , the octopus was not only overdone but once bitten was odorous, and finally the shrimp, like the lobster, was not its usual chewy self but grainy and dull.
We complained, sent the dish back, and ordered steak thinking that would be our safest option. All the while we can overhear the waiters complaining about us from their corner, "this is Kenya, not Tanzania" (I'm sorry we must let you know when your seafood is not up to par).
The steak looked nice, but was not aged (like the claimed), and tasted like fish from a distance, which was extremely off-putting, leaving one to assume that they keep their red meat and sea-food in the same freezer and/or cook it in the same pan (neither of which are smart nor resourceful). We sent it RIGHT back less than two bites in, paid our bill, my friend told off a waiter for backchatting about customers in their presence, and we LEFT.
SEVEN DO BETTER WITH YOUR FISH.
Overpriced for the quality of food one is offered.
Never going back, I'll stick to eating seafood by the...

Read moreVery confusing. Online & website menus very different from what you find at the restaurant. Empty restaurant with three tables and the server was so dull and uninterested in doing his job. Cam gave the menus left. Came again in 30seconds expecting us to be ready. We told him not yet, he disappeared for 15 minutes. No explanation about any of the dishes. Table had roaches roaming around it. Shocking. Starters were very good. No interaction from the waiter, very reluctant to serve, maybe we didn't look like big tippers? Order the lobster, he doesn't bring the Grilled veg. Once he brought the food never saw him again till time for the bill. Someone else came to clear plates almost 20min after we were done. Asked her why wasn't the meal served in full. Her response oh let me bring the accompaniments now. Yet we already eaten!
To cut it short, hygiene and service extremely disappointing for that price line.
But food is good, portions...
