Dawat Restaurant — Restaurant in Bnaid Al Qar

Sadly though I went with a lot of expectations because this restaurant was recommended by a good friend, what I experienced was disaster of a night .. i found their service was appauling..they were treating as if they were doing us a favour. The waiters etiquette was so I'll mannered ( they were throwing the cutlery collecting bay and making such a loud noise, and not obliging to take care of small requests like splitting the ice-cream to another bowl. Dawat is one of the very old yet amazing Indian Restaurant. We still order on and off through Talabat and quality of food and food portions are great.Yesterday I visited it after long time and one thing which really put me off was the hospitality. The staff which is definitely not the same like the previous ones, is not at all hospitable. Very rude and no way I would have hired them for the work they are doing. I visited the Jahra branch yesterday afternoon. The total waste of money. We ordered the chicken lollipop as starter, they refried the old one and gave. With the taste we found it. Used besan for coating which was so hard. I couldn't feel any piece of chicken in that. Then came the main dish chicken nawabi Tikka and tanthoori, both are same taste and with some kind of chlorine smell. Returned home with blotted stomach, vomited. Just for 3 dishes the bill was 10kd.
