I recently had the pleasure of dining at OFK, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s ambiance is a perfect blend of fancy and modern, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. It's probably the best take of fine dining combined with contemporary japanese cuisine in Kuwait. Located in Al Hamra Mall, OFK is the latest addition to gastronomica.

Overall, it is beautifully designed inside, out with a wonderful exterior dining area that opens up completely with the inside when weather allows. The atmosphere, weather combined with the music really gives you an experience you will desire.

For some reason i've seen lots of reviews and heard from people the place is expensive, though noticed theres plenty of restaurants in Kuwait with similar average ticket values yet food and service were not up to par.

Highly recommend visiting this place (make sure you reserve online ahead of time). Diving into the menu, my recommendations:

Nigiri's - all types. Baby gem salad. Crispy Rice. Maki Rolls.

Charred Aubergine. Rock Shrimp. Korean Short Rib Rice. Shrimp Gyoza.

Peruvian Seabass.

Was invited for the soft opening The atmosphere amazing ! They have a big private room + private entrance were you can bring your own band or products Your own music! It’s not connected to the restaurant! Amazing Italian decor up the ceiling !! 🔥🔥

We ordered

1- Matcha (5/5) when I saw matcha I was curious how would a matcha taste as a cold drink! (I don’t like it as a tea! ) but amazing drink would definitely recommend it !

2- wild berries (2/5) syrup is strong

3- Cardamon drink (5/5)!

4- kale 🥬 salad (5/5) just please less sauce.

5- avocado sushi (5/5)! 6- beetroot sushi (5/5)!

7- pizza truffle (4/5) the bread is nice but creamy

8- shawarma (5/5)

9- seebass (5/5)

10- rib eye steak (5/5) medium rare

11- mango .. drink (4/5)

Dessert:

1- tiramisu (4/5)
