Slider Station is a renowned Kuwaiti restaurant specializing in burgers and tapas, which has expanded its presence to Muscat and Bahrain since its establishment in 2007. This culinary haven is the brainchild of Kuwaiti Chef Basil AlSalem, and it continues to captivate diners with its delectable offerings.
During my recent visit, I indulged in some of Slider Station’s signature dishes. The Maple Buffalo Shrimps proved to be a staple and a must-order appetizer—a delightful combination of flavors that left me wanting more. The Commando Fries, topped with cheddar cheese, jalapeños, grilled onions, west coast sauce, and crispy roasted onions, were a tantalizing treat for the taste buds. Additionally, the new addition to the menu, the Maple Buffalo Chicken, proved to be a great appetizer with its fantastic flavors.
Moving on to the sliders, the Midnight—with its American cheese, lettuce, mustard onions, pickles, and west coast sauce—delivered a classic combination that satisfied my burger cravings. The Classic Chicken slider was a delightful twist on a timeless favorite. Finally, the Solar Gravity burger took the spotlight with its bacon and cheddar cheese-infused double patty, American cheese, pickles, crispy onions, and gravity sauce. It was messy, but undeniably delicious.
While the food at Slider Station lived up to its reputation, it’s worth noting that the wait time for a table exceeded 30 minutes, which slightly diminished the overall enjoyment. Nevertheless, the service provided was splendid, and the seating arrangements were comfortable, although I would advise against choosing the upstairs area for a more enjoyable experience.
It is important to mention that, compared to previous visits, I noticed both inflation and shrinkflation affecting the prices and portion sizes. However, Slider Station still delivers a quality dining experience that is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Read moreIn my humble opinion there are no sliders elsewhere as the ones available at slider station. A place to chill on a date or hang out with friends or take your entire family out..perfect for family with kids this place caters to all age group. With a limited menu focusing only on sliders, hand crafted burgers, tapas and salads it has the right focus with the right delivery. The buns are soft and literally melt in your mouth. My favorite slider has been the dynamite (picture below) and if you wanna go for a big burger then you don’t have to look further than the best seller Solar gravity ( the red one in the picture). I also happened to try their American burger not mentioned on their menu but still available on demand. It’s another favorite with mouth melting beef patty. Manhattan is another good one but it’s a smaller size and might be disappointing if you like big chunk of burgers. The only constraint to this place is the enormous amount of waiting time specially on weekends as you can not do a prior reservation. But a good thing is they have extended their premises 4 months ago so now it’s even better. A must try if you haven’t. The prices are considerate a tad bit higher but its an exchange for a good quality burger. In the pictures the drinks are the passion fruit mojito ( nothing special) Oreo milk shake (perfect if you are a chocolate or Oreo lover) and a special birthday dessert ice cream with pancake ( u can give...
Read moreDon’t come here if on a special diet (health or just for weight loss).
The website is out of date, advertising meals they no longer serve. We picked meals based on the website, based on dietary concerns. Upon arrival they told us that the website is not updated (for several years) and only to use Instagram. When we discussed the dietary issues of one guest, they told us we had to order and pay extra for a salad on the side of a steak. They would not even remove fries and replace with plain lettuce! We had to pay an extra 4KD (US$15) for that salad! They wouldn’t even remove the sauce (or put on the side) for the steak.
The chefs are very stubborn here and refused to adjust any recipe even slightly for special dietary needs. Don’t like your food ridiculously spicy? Too bad.
The restaurant used to be good, but it’s become more and more expensive with less care towards the customers needs. Surprising when special dietary requirements are becoming more and more important to address, and becoming...
