Don’t be put off by the older reviews – the hotel was completely renovated in 2021 and the rooms are quite nice now.||While the hotel might not quite be an oasis, as the name suggests, it is a solid mid-range alternative in the very heart of Kuwait City, ideal for sightseeing and tourism. The souk, with numerous exchange offices, is just opposite the hotel and the main sights are within walking distance. There are several eateries and snack shops on the same block.||Ranjit, who checked me in, was friendly and helpful. The room was of average size for a three-star city hotel. Not big, but not cramped, either. It came with a comfortable queen bed, a desk, a coffee table and a chair as well as a safe, a fridge, three 0.5 L water bottles (replenished daily) and efficient A/C. There are sockets by the bed and desk, so charging your devices was easy, but bring an adapter as Kuwait uses the UK standard. The room was clean and tidy, and as it was newly renovated, it was in very good condition. I had a nice view of the roundabout and souk, but street noise was a problem, so bring earplugs (and an eyemask as the curtains won’t keep the room fully dark). Wifi was easy to use, fast, free, unlimited and reliable. No password needed.||The bathroom felt older, but water pressure in the shower was very good and hot water ample. No bathtub. Amenities consisted of small bars of soap as well as wall-mounted containers of soap and shampoo. The maid has additional amenities available on request, such as shaving kits etc.||Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 10th floor 7:30–10, but I did not try it. Apparently the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner anymore.||A taxi from the airport took about 25 minutes and cost 8 KD. The hotel arranges airport transfers for 6 KD.||I paid 70 EUR/night, no breakfast included, and I believe the price was right for what I consider a good three-star hotel. I couldn’t have...

My stay at the Oasis Hotel Kuwait was genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in all my travels. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. A special thank you to Zain and Saud, who went above and beyond to make my visit truly unforgettable. They ensured I had one of the best rooms available and delivered an impeccable standard of service throughout my stay.
What stood out most was the personal touch and attention to detail. I’ve visited many countries and stayed in high-end hotels around the world, but the hospitality here — particularly from Zain and Saud — was unmatched. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to guest satisfaction made me feel more than just a traveller; they made me feel at home.
The hotel itself is a hidden gem in the heart of Kuwait City — spotlessly clean, quiet, and ideally located. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, everything you need is within easy reach. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but the standout service from Zain and Saud truly elevated my experience.
Beyond the hotel, Kuwait has become a second home to me. The food, the culture, and above all, the people — were nothing but love. ❤️ Every interaction I had in the city was filled with warmth and respect, making this trip even more special.
If you’re planning a visit to Kuwait, I highly recommend staying at the Oasis Hotel. You’ll experience world-class service, genuine hospitality, and memories that will stay with you long after you leave. I’ll absolutely...
Read moreI was skeptical because of some of the reviews about the hotel itself but for a short stay, I have no complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful. An airport pick up was arranged in a nice SUV and the airport dropoff was a taxi. It's a 3 star hotel so remember you won't get the same as a higher rated hotel like conditioner, lotion, bathrobe, slippers, etc. The shower water didn't drain as fast however, they provided a 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash and complimentary water bottles. Few stains on sides of the bed but otherwise comfortable. Wifi was good and fast. I enjoyed the skyline city view both in the daytime and at night (can see Kuwait towers in the distance too). The best part was the location which seems to reflect the price. Walking distance to both Souq Mubarakiyya and the Grand Mosque (at least 5 minutes). Two mosques behind the hotel, one Sunni and one huge Shia one. The National Museum & Harbor Walk is also walking distance (20-30 mins maybe) or a quick 1-1.5 KWD taxi ride away as is Al Shaheed Park and Assima Mall. Lots of restaurants, cafes, & corner store options available and even a bus stop for public transportation options. An all around great location and...
