The only thing good about this place is the pizza, all the other thinks we ordered was sub-par, the biggest issue was the staff who were unaccommodating in surprising ways, to give an example : 1- I ordered a T-bone steak I requested it not to be sliced, the waitress came back saying the chef refused to NOT slice, and suggested another steak. 2- after I accepted the waitresses suggested, the chef sent the manager to reject that request again (the one their employee suggested), and added another alteration to my order which wasn’t even a special request just a choice of salad options given by the waitress, I had to make a scene to get my minor to get my order made. 3- this was the kicker we ordered a pizza which was good, BUT as it was just to spite me they put on the meat topping and onion AFTER the pizza was cooked. I will be clear the margarita pizza was perfect and the crust was exact in its crunch and taste, but and that’s a big one for me the staff including the chef don’t want to do any effort and just pump out the food factory style. Ps the service...
Read moreThe venue is easily accessible but can be busy at lunch time. It's not unheard of to wait for 15-30 min for a table. The waiting staff would take a contact number and call when a table becomes available. The food is generally okay but nothing impressive. The prices are reasonable in Kuwaiti terms with main course about 5 KD. Don't order the artichoke and sausage pizza as it is a complete let down. The Bolognese sauce seemed like something from a jar. Some of the pasta such as the Fungi and ravioli were good. The service is unfortunately a let down. The waiters are very pleasant and helpful but there is no system in terms of table allocation. One has to wave and hope to be noticed: in one hour we have been served by over 8 waiters! The restaurant management could...
Read moreDined at Eataly with my family and had a fantastic experience! Mr. Arnel was incredibly helpful and friendly, making excellent recommendations and serving us promptly. Mr. Rahul was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Both made sure everything was alright or if we needed anything. The tomato soup had a distinct umami taste, the homemade potato chips were delightfully crunchy, and the fried calamari with peppers was delicious. The mushroom risotto was a standout, and the Margherita double cheese pizza with extra mushrooms had a thin, delicious crust. We ended with gelato, and despite ordering a variety, the food never felt heavy. It was more than enough for the three of us, and we even had leftovers to take home. Don't miss out on this great...
