Compass Hostel — Hotel in Bishkek City

The location of this hostel is perfect, only a few minutes from a green pedestrian street, plenty of grocery stores and a variety of restaurants nearby, and an easy hour's walk to Osh Bazaar (a must see!). The facilities are very nice and modern, impeccably clean, and the cleaning staff we encountered were extremely kind. All the staff at the hostel are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They helped arrange a taxi to take us to and from Ala-Archa National Park as well as a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay. Breakfast was homemade by the staff every morning, was very nutritious - always had some kind of bread, protein, fruit, and vegetables - and was different every morning. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and rooms come with AC unit and remote so that guests can control the temperature in their individual rooms, which was very nice. This was overall one of the best hostels we have ever stayed in! HIGHLY recommend...

This Hostel surpasses our expectations. It’s 1 year old with comfortable modern facilities. The ladies managing the reception desk are extremely helpful and informative. We found the extra efforts they went to to help us learn about the city quickly and effortlessly, invaluable.|We came expecting to stay for one night and ended up staying 5 nights. The hostel has both dorms and private rooms and is very clean with large kitchen and common areas. |Breakfast-exceptional|We used the reception to hire a Lada Niva and driver called Tabo, to take us into the Tien Shan mountains for a day trip. It was competitive in price and Mr Tabo was informative with excellent English spoken. |We will be returning in a few weeks and will be recommending this hostel to our friends who will inevitably follow us to Kyrgyzstan...

"COMPASS HOSTEL" is situated on ground floor of a plush building on Tynystanov Street, All the prominent tourist landmarks of Bishkek City Centre are within walking distance from this locality. Very clean and well maintained hostel with the Globus shopping mall just across the street for purchase of groceries, etc. Manager Ms Altynai speaks English and was very helpful in showing me the important landmark parks on the tourist map as well as helping me get a booking for a group tour to "Issyk-Kul Lake".
