The Local Restaurant & Bars — Restaurant in Vientiane Capital

Met what could be the best waitress I have encountered this year! Food is good and all but it’s an Asian fusion restaurant though, so don’t expect super purely Laotian stuff.

Detailed story: it’s already frustrating enough that there’s no train and only inconvenient bus for me to get around. The Loca app didn’t work for my phone somehow and there’s no Grab or Uber!!! So I asked the waitress just to see how the locals get around and not only did she very enthusiastically helped me hailed a car, but she also explained to the driver how I needed to get around to a couple different spots later today too. She basically single-handedly solved all my problems getting around in Vientiane. she was so nice the whole time and kept asking how she could help me and whatnot.

I don’t know what I did to deserve such a kind and helpful waitress + with amazing English!

Had to give them a 5 star for how great the service was!

The food was really good too but it’s just that her service was way out of this world that it overshadows the food lol.
