From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with grace and genuine smiles. Whether you're a fan of creamy butter chicken, aromatic biryanis, or sizzling tandoori platters, every bite here is a celebration of India’s rich culinary heritage.
A very special thanks to Chef Sanjay, whose talent and attentiveness make the experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to create a customized dish exactly to my taste — a rare and thoughtful gesture that truly touched me. It wasn’t just delicious; it was made with care, and you could taste it in every bite.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Royal Kitchen isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a journey of flavor and hospitality that lingers in your heart long after the meal is over.

Read moreThe empty restaurant where they don't know how to cook. I went there twice, giving them a second chance and trying Indian cuisine. I ordered dal and naan bread: garlic and plain. The naan was rubber like, but the worst part was that it was like chewing sand. I realized that black pieces on the naan bread were not a burned bread, but some old black dirt from the frying pan or whatever they use to fry it!!! They never clean the pan and serve you food with old burned dirt on it!!! I had to throw away all naan bread and I didn't want to eat dal after that, cause God knows how they cook it! It's officially the worst restaurant in Asia! You better go to any street vendor and get food from them, cause they don't embarass themselves by selling inedible food to people! The first day I tried their food I ordered Tom Yam Koon and discovered sponge-like uncooked mushrooms in it. The soup taste wasn't too bad, but the mushrooms...
Read moreI had the worst experience at this restaurant in two years of living in Vientiane. They served me minced chicken meat saying it is vegetarian. Four staff, FOUR including an Indian man, lied to me the same thing and made me eat it! So please beware of such a cheapskate place. You never know what you are eating because they are so money minded trying to save a dish and 60k. Didn't even offer to refund the bill even after I pointed it out during the course of conversation. Never ever experienced anything like this anywhere in Laos even in cheap local restaurants. Shame. And it is real bad karma they earned doing this. I told the owner who was kind enough to invite me back to instead invite some poor people to the restaurant to feed them for my bill amount at least. Hope...
