Summertime Drustu — Restaurant in Jūrmala

A large summer terrace cafe right in the middle of the Jurmala beachline. Nothing fancy, but a decent selection of refreshing drinks and some home-style food which is not bad at all for a place of this kind. Plenty of seating spots, but can still get crowded on sunny weekends, as Riga residents rush to catch some sunlight. The prices are alright, good value for money overall. A place where staff is completely unaware of the service and working hours concept. When the sign clearly says that working hours are until 10PM you can't just close at 5 because you want to without any reason or even as notice, when the beach is crowded. The technical issues and a warning are understandable, but instead we just got an unpolite answer We are closed the cash register. Luckily there are better places...

It might look like any other small beach-side eating place, but the food is suprisingly good and the dishes are decently priced (though drinks and other packaged snacks are expensive).
