X.O Beach Lounge & Club — Restaurant in Jūrmala

The customer service was really the worst I've ever received. The blond-haired waiter in his twenties was so unfriendly and unprofessional that I almost started crying. His attitude towards me was so mean. Even ok food won't fix what happened.

The whole atmosphere was creepy. I had to wait 10 min before I got service and the restaurant were almost empty.. so finally I went inside to take the menu by myself. When I got the meal birds ate my food living just a bit veggies when I was inside taking the water - which I ordered but which never came. And the waiter didn't apologize for anything, just says with a wicked smile that it's not their fault and I have to pay more if I want new beef. At the end I paid €31.90 for a regular salad with pieces of meat and sparkling water. At the end, I told the waiter that I think he was really impolite and he responded indifferently and with a wicked smile "ok, thank you."

Never go there.

Tonight, my sister and I took a seat at a table which had just been left by the previous customers. A bald waiter came and advised us to seat elsewhere because as the table was dirty we would have to wait. I answered that we didn't mind waiting. Five minutes later a young apprentice cleared our table (actually he was doing all the hard works - cleansing, storing the sunbeds and the like - while the waiter was sitting on his hands). After 30 more minutes the waiter had still not come to take our order (obviously he had decided not to serve us), so we left. The good side of this customer experience is that we enjoyed the sunset comfortably...

Külastasime XO rannabaari olles perega puhkusel. Rannabaaris istumisvõimalus nii sees kui väljas. Paigaldatud klaasid, mis varjavad veidi tuult. Personal abivalmis, viisakas, rõõmsameelne lahke. Vähestest baaridest, mis ei nõua 50- 25€ tasu istumiskohtade eest. Suhelda saab nii inglise kui vene keeles. Menüü ja jookide hinnaklass pisut kõrgem, mis oli ootuspärane. Tegemist ju ikkagi rannabaariga. Menüüs põnevad alkoholivabad kokteilid. Kokkuvõttes suurepärane kogemus. We visited the XO beach bar while we where on family holiday. Seaside and outdoor seatings are awaileble at the beach bar. Installed glasses that slightly obscure the wind. Staff helpful, polite, cheerful kind. XO bar is perfect place to sit enjoy food and coctails, because they dont charge 50-25 € for the seats. You can communicate in both English and Russian. The menu and the price range of the drinks were a bit higher, which was as expected because it is still a beach bar and the view is beautiful. The menu includes exciting non-alcoholic cocktails.
