Dzintars Hotel — Hotel in Jūrmala

We are from Canada and it was a second time we stayed at Dzintars hotel and absolutely enjoyed it! The owners and staff of the hotel were very helpful, speak 3 languages (latvian, Russian and English) and were available 24/7. We had a person with a disability with us and they accommodated us and redesigned our room that we all three of us felt comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect about 10 minutes walk to the beach 🏖 And you absolutely have to try their breakfast 🥞! It is a breakfast and a lunch together! Absolutely delicious! They also have a restaurant on site called Grill Time where you can enjoy delicious home made meals and amazing...

The hotel is situated right next to the Dzintari train station, so transport to Riga is very easy. There is a short walk to the beach. The hotel has its own parking.||||The breakfast was excellent for such a small hotel. Best croissants I ever had!||||This is not necessarily the best hotel for those who need things to be very quiet. The sounds of the trains passing can be heard until quite late in the night, and there is also some noise from the other rooms. (There was a family with children staying in the room above ours, and everytime the kids ran across the floor it was like the house was going...

I was with my friend during the NY and I got this hotel for two nights for wonderful price (including even a breakfast). The location of the hotel if you are without a car is quite difficult, although it takes only 10 minutes to get to seaside on the foot and city's center. Rooms are simple yet clean and warm light and there were no broken furniture. Food and drink prices are good as for a hotel. Breakfast can be better, but once again it's a budget type hotel. If I needed a last minute hotel for a better price - why not, let's go there...
