KINGU - Kebabs & Chicken story (Teika/Gustava Zemgala) — Restaurant in Riga

Went in to get a medium kebab plate. I asked for double meat portion and paid extra. When the plate arrived I was dissapointed to say the least. The amount of meat fit on one fork. When confronted, the employees quickly glanced at the plate and said 'Yeah, thats double'. They didn't even ask the cooks at the back to confirm. When a person pays extra for double meat, please give him double meat. If it's too much to do so, just raise the price for double meat or don't offer it. Also my girlfriend received the wrong order. I have been waiting for food for 40+min. The people who came with me have finished the food.

I specifically asked for no onions They brought food with onions. When I already quite angry went to the staff to ask about it. They were dismissive at first saying that I had entered the information in the wrong place (?!)

The other order that we had was cold, also with onions although we asked it to be without, and different size, suggesting it was made for someone else.

The explanation was that they had too many orders.

The place is ok, but our Sunday visit was a disaster. It was packed with kids running around and screaming, making it impossible to relax. The noise, combined with loud music and stuffy air, turned the experience into complete chaos. If you’re looking for a spot to bring your kids, it might work, but for a quiet meal, I wouldn’t recommend it. The food itself was tasty, though they mixed up the sauces and made it way too spicy.
